Get reminded about important events in your life. Never miss another birthday, anniversary, wedding or football game. Are you manually calculating days left until delivering a baby, serving the army, salary, bonus, summer holiday, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, ski trip? Did you ever forget important date and felt bad about it? Using countdown widget, you will never miss one again.You can also add multiple events. For example, you can set one date for your yearly bonus and the other for your Hawaii trip :)
Once the desired date has been reached, widget starts to count the days passed. You can also customize the size and the layout color of the widget to make it more personal.
How to use it? It is simple. After selecting the Countdown widget you just need to enter the date and title of an event to count down to. Widget shows number of days left until the event, on your desktop.
And all of it - for free! :)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Having problems locating the widget upon install?
This is home screen widget and not the application, please read the INSTRUCTIONS on how to use the widget:
OLDER PHONES (before Android v 4.0):
• To add a widget, touch and hold an empty location on a Home screen. Menu will pop-up, select Widgets.
• Choose Widget menu will popup. From there, find and select Countdown Widget.
NEWER PHONES, Android version 4.0 and later (Ice Cream Sandwich):
• Touch the All Apps icon on your Home screen (white circle with 6 squares).
• Touch “Widgets” at the top of the screen.
• From the main Widgets screen, you can swipe left until you find “Countdown Widget”
• Touch and hold the widget’s icon, slide your finger where you want to place it, and lift your finger. Widget configuration dialog will appear.
Note: If there is not room where you dropped it, the widget will not be added to the Home screen.

Obrobrio Può fare il countdown SOLO dei giorni. Ore minuti secondi non esistono. C'è già il calendario google per questo. Per quanto mi riguarda é un'app inutile
